WELCOME TO ST ANTHONY'S CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL
Our school is a well-established Catholic Primary school that has welcomed families from East Dulwich and surrounding parishes since it was originally founded in 1883.
We are a happy and successful school that strives for excellence; ensuring that each child grows socially, academically and spiritually - so that they leave us fully equipped for the next stage of their life journey. Our children tell us that they love to be here and we are very proud of them and their achievements.
As a Catholic school, we embrace the teachings of the Catholic Church and work closely with the local Catholic community. In partnership with families and parishes, we support the children’s faith journeys and we ensure the Gospel values are central to our daily interactions as well as being the foundation of all our policies.
At St Anthony’s we provide children with a range of experiences to enable them to explore and develop a life-long thirst for learning. Music, the arts and sport are an important part of our school and we seek to inspire children to try new activities as well as celebrate achievements both in school and beyond.
We are committed to nurturing the children and ensuring that they develop an understanding of their role and responsibilities within the school and the wider community. Behaviour is exemplary at St Anthony’s yet we continue to strive for the children to develop even further; developing their values and skills to enable them to thrive.
Key to our school’s success is our partnership with parents with whom we share responsibility for the children's education.
Our school is a bright, modern and vibrant learning environment with spaces for outdoor learning and play. We are centrally located on Barry Road, enabling us easy access to the wonderful resources in our local community as well as the excellent transport links to London.
We are a warm and welcoming school and ask prospective families to click on our ‘Admissions’ tab for further information.
I look forward to meeting with you.
