Nursery School Tours SpriNg 2026
We are delighted to offer tours for prospective Nursery parents for September 2026. To arrange a tour of the Nursery at a time that suits you, please contact us at the the school office via email:school@stanthonys.southwark.sch.uk or phone 020 86936852.
Nursery Admissions
The Nursery has a morning session from 8.45 to 12noon, funded by the Local Authority, for 30 children, these sessions are free. All Nursery children have a free school lunch.
We provide free extended entitlement for Nursery children entitled to the 30hrs Free Childcare for 8.45am to 3.30 daily (34.5 hours a week). You need a valid 30hours code for this provision.
There is the option for Nursery children to attend a full day, from 8.45 to 15.30, which requires the payment of a top-up fee of £22 per day for the additional hours, 12 to 3.30pm.

Admission for Reception September 2026
If your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022, your child is due to start primary school in September 2026. The Local Authority Admissions process opened on 1st September, the closing date for applications is 15th January 2026. If you have missed this deadline, please contact the school office for more information by email at school@stanthonys.southwark.sch.uk or by phone on 020 8693 6852.
To apply for admission to St Anthony’s :
- must complete the Local Authority electronic admissions process, eAdmissions. Places will be offered on 19th April 2026.
- you may wish to complete Certificate of Catholic Practice, if this is applicable to you, which you can download below and return to the school office.
In Year Admissions
St Anthony's Catholic Primary School manage our own In Year Admissions. If you would like your child to move schools during the academic year or are moving to the area, please complete a In Year Admissions Form and submit it to the school office. In Year admissions will follow the normal admissions criteria and school admissions policy.
All In Year applications will receive a response within 15 school days. Please contact the school office if you have any queries regarding admissions by email at school@stanthonys.southwark.sch.uk or by phone on 020 8693 6852.
Admissions Policy
